AAAAaahhhhh!!!
It seems we can all breathe a sigh of relief now since the semester is coming to a close and papers are turned in. I love that feeling. I am a check off the list kind of person and once the semester is done I know all my boxes have been checked! To anyone writing a research paper for the first time I would tell them it takes time and they need to make sure they plan ahead and by doing a little at a time most of your paper will just come together over time. Leaving research papers until the last minute leaves little or no time to correct mistakes. I think I have become better with APA, I pretty much don't even have to look at the book or cheatsheets now. I am continuing to put together better transitions throughout my paper, but that is something I can always improve upon. It is definitely true with papers the more you do the better you become, practice makes perfect (or at least better). I hope everyone has a wonderful next semester, Good luck

Iris,
ReplyDeleteAmen sister, you can say that again I have taken my sigh of release alright. The week off goes by so fast wish they gave us 3 weeks in between but at the same time I can't wait to be done with school all together.
I agree that when writing a research paper you need to take your time and definitely plan ahead or you will only hurt your self. It takes time to research and find the right information for your paper and make sure it follows your argument.
I think APA was my biggest struggle but I feel like I have gotten better as well.
Great to hear you feel like a better writer! I know I do after this course.
Hope the best for you in all you do!
